Pep Guardiola has reportedly already informed Chelsea that he will be continuing his sabbatical this year and not taking over at the club.
The Londoners are looking for a new Coach after dispensing with Roberto Di Matteo and have been speculated in the British media today as considering the former Barcelona boss.
However, according to AS journalist Guillem Balague and reports in Mundo Deportivo, the 41-year-old will not be taking the position.
It is alleged that Guardiola was approached a few days ago by Chelsea and informed them then of his intention to see through his commitment to take this season off from football.
Rafa Benitez is another early favourite to become Roman Abramovich’s ninth different manager at Stamford Bridge.
