Tension at Betis training

Real Betis’ players have returned to training after the weekend’s 5-1 mauling in the Seville derby to some abusive chants from on-looking fans.

About 100 supporters attended the team’s first workout after Sunday’s thrashing at Sevilla and are reported as having targeted specific people for abusive chants.

Portuguese full-back Nelson [pictured], who was notably at fault in the game for allowing Jose Antonio Reyes in to make it 3-0, was picked out and reportedly responded by arguing with the fans.

At the same time, others like Jonathan Pereira are reported to have also confronted supporters, whilst club President Miguel Guillen and sporting director Vlada Stosic, who were also present, were on the receiving end of some angry accusations too.
