Former Brazil boss Luiz Felipe Scolari believes Neymar is as good as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo and would fit in at Barcelona.
Neymar has been heavily linked with Barca, fullback Dani Alves earlier today expressing his hope that the 20-year-old striking prodigy will arrive at Camp Nou.
“Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar are the three best players in the world right now,” said Scolari in an interview with Esports Cope. “And Neymar can overcome them in the coming years.
“He would fit perfectly at Barca, because he's a great player with excellent qualities. For now, he's working with a great Coach and perfecting his tactics. He's very happy in Brazil.”
The former Chelsea tactician then revealed his own ambition to work with the Catalan club.
“I would very much like to be Coach of Barca in the future, for the friendship that unites me with Sandro Rosell.”
Scolari seems surprisingly underwhelmed by Messi's achievements.
“Messi is one of the three best in the world. He's living a great moment. But for me Pele remains the best and will be for years.”
