Carlos Bianchi believes that Barcelona forward Lionel Messi is not only the best player in the world at the moment, but of all time.
The former Boca Juniors and Atletico Madrid Coach believes that his fellow Argentine has now surpassed the likes of Pele, Eusebio and Diego Maradona as the best ever.
“I see him as the best player of all time. Some will say: ‘he has not won the World Cup’. But Messi plays a game every three days and every three days he is good. If he fails to score a goal, we miss him,” commented Bianchi to La Garganta Poderosa.
“We have to be aware that we have a player that we will not see again, for his level and consistency.”
