Jose Luis Mendilibar has reminded Osasuna fans that there is still a long to go in the season, after their 3-0 win over Espanyol.
Goals from Alvaro Cejudo, Kike Sola and Manuel Onwu gave Los Rojillos only their second win of the season, but despite the team staying bottom of the table, the 51-year-old has told supporters not to panic.
“This season is not over in a day or two,” he told a Press conference. “The campaign is a marathon, and there are still many kilometres to go.
“It was a great game from us today though. We didn't concede a goal and managed to get three ourselves. In fact we could have had more.”
