Rayo Vallecano came from two goals down to seal a thrilling 3-2 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday afternoon.
A neat double from Iago Aspas had threatened to steal the points for the visiting Galicians at Vallecas, but Gustavo Gabral’s second yellow card just before half-time proved a turning point.
From the break, Rayo produced the goods to mount a comeback, with Leo Baptistao opening the scoring on the hour mark, before Tito equalised with less than 20 minutes left.
Inside the final 10 minutes Piti managed to convert a penalty to make it 3-2 and hand Paco Jemez’ side all three points.
