The Coach is without his first-choice No 9s with the Frenchman’s hamstring injury sustained on Monday followed up the next day by a similar ailment for the Argentine.

In travelling out to Levante this Sunday evening, Mourinho is apparently considering shifting Ronaldo from his usual wing-based attacking role to the No 9 position.

Mourinho otherwise has Jose Callejon and Alvaro Morata to pick between for the tricky tie at Ciutat de Valencia.
