Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Ozil believes that Borussia Dortmund can win the Champions League after their meeting on Tuesday.
The Bundesliga champions earned a 2-2 draw at Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League in midweek, and the 24-year-old is of the opinion that Jurgen Klopp's men can challenge for European glory come May.
“Dortmund can win the Champions League,” he told Bild. “If you're crowned German champions for two seasons in a row, then you have to be a contender in Europe.
“We saw in our two meetings with Dortmund that they are a really good team.”
Ozil's comments come in the wake of Jose Mourinho, who also complimented the Westfalenstadion side after their impressive displays against Los Blancos.
