Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has spoken of the club's commitment to their youth system at a presentation.
Perez was unveiling plans for the construction of new buildings to house young players at the Valdebebas training complex.
“With this project Real Madrid's commitment and the heritage of the club's cantera grows,” stated the patron.
“The project is the culmination of a promise and will be a real home for our young players. It is a great contribution to the formation of those who dream of being part of the legend of Real Madrid.”
Los Blancos and their Coach Jose Mourinho have came in for criticism recently for not giving the products of their cantera enough chances with the first team.
