Antoine Griezmann has been handed a date of November 8 to stand in front of the French Football Federation and explain his recent behaviour.
The Real Sociedad talent and a handful of his teammates must face the FFF’s Disciplinary Commission on this date to explain why they broke from the France Under-21 training camp in October to go to a nightclub in Paris.
The players did so on the weekend between the two-legged play-off that the Under-21s were playing with Norway for a place in next summer’s European Championships held in Israel.
The group were not disciplined by their Coach Erick Mombaerts at the time, but in the team’s defeat in these play-offs and the Coach’s subsequent removal from his position, action is now being taken against them.
