Former Barcelona player Zlatan Ibrahimovic has again had a dig at La Blaugrana by calling them ‘mediocre’, claims website diez.hn.
The Swedish international, currently with Paris Saint-Germain, allegedly sent a text to his old club when he was asked about the possibility of Real Madrid signing Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.
“Balotelli to Madrid? I can’t see it, more like Barcelona. Mediocre team, mediocre player,” the website alleges was Ibrahimovic’s reply.
If true, it would not be the first time he has criticised Barca or a member of staff, having previously had some unkind words to say about former boss Pep Guardiola following Ibrahimovic’s somewhat acrimonious departure from the Camp Nou.
