Levante have announced that midfielder Miguel Pallardo faces three weeks on the sidelines after suffering a muscle tear in training.
The former Getafe player, who appeared as a late substitute in the 1-0 Europa League win against Helsingborgs on Thursday, suffered the injury to his left thigh in training on Friday and will miss Sunday’s home clash with Real Sociedad as a result.
Pallardo joins Greek striker Fanis Gekas on the sidelines, but Juanfran, who scored the decisive goal against Helsingborgs before sitting out training on Friday with a slight hip injury, trained normally on Saturday and should feature against the Basque outfit.
