Camp Nou worst ground for Valencia

Valencia look to break a worst ever run against Barcelona this weekend at the Camp Nou, a ground where they are also on a notably long winless streak.

Statistically, Los Che head into Sunday evening’s fixture on their longest ever winless streak against Barcelona home and away in all competitions.

From their February 2007 League win over the Catalans, Valencia have lost or drawn their last 10 matches against them, equating to their worst run against Barca in their history.

Alongside trying to break that, new Coach Mauricio Pellegrino will have to do so at Camp Nou, the stadium to currently have prevented Valencia from winning at the longest.

Since an October 2003 win in Catalonia, Valencia have played eight, drawn three and lost five at Camp Nou, which is the team’s longest current winless run at an away ground. It is a couple of months longer than their equally poor record at Sevilla’s Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
