The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has decided to postpone Monday night’s match between Real Betis and Atletico Madrid.
Atleti had requested that the game be put back two-and-a-half weeks to Wednesday September 26 because they believed their involvement in this Friday’s UEFA Super Cup was too close to the original Monday scheduling.
Real Betis disagreed, but the RFEF have sided with the Madrid club and the game will now be played on that final Wednesday of the month.
