Pepe in for Real, Barca unchanged

Jose Mourinho can welcome back Pepe to the Real Madrid starting line-up for the Super Cup, whilst Tito Vilanova names the same XI as the first leg.

Meeting for the second leg of the Supercopa de Espana, extra-time and penalties will decide affairs if the aggregate score-line after tonight is level and if away goals are level. Barca lead 3-2 from the first leg, so a reverse score would take us to 120 minutes tonight.

Real Coach Mourinho has gone with nine of the 11 that began the weekend defeat to Getafe, with Pepe coming in for Raul Albiol and Sami Khedira displacing Lassana Diarra. Luka Modric could make his debut from the bench, as his Coach picks a side with four changes in total from that which began the first leg last week.

Meanwhile, visiting boss Vilanova restores Javier Mascherano to the first XI for his 100th appearance for the club after resting at the weekend, with Adriano again at left-back instead of Jordi Alba and Pedro Rodriguez in attack over Cristian Tello. This is the same starting XI that began the first leg at the Camp Nou last week. Carles Puyol, with his fractured cheekbone, has not made the bench.

UPDATE – Dani Alves picked up a late injury and was replaced in the visitors' line-up by Jordi Alba.

Starting line-ups

Real Madrid: Casillas; Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo; Alonso, Khedira; Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo; Higuain

Barcelona: Valdes; Adriano, Pique, Mascherano, Alba; Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta; Pedro, Messi, Alexis
