Milan could pip Malaga for Bojan

Milan are in talks with Roma to net Malaga target Bojan Krkic on a loan deal for the 2012-13 campaign.

The Andalusians were linked with the 21-year-old this week after he was an unused substitute in Roma’s opening game of the season, but Serie A giants Milan could hijack any attempt to take him to La Rosaleda.

Reports in Italy on Tuesday quoted Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani as saying that a deal could be imminent,

“We're moving in the right direction in an attempt to sign Bojan Krkic,” Galliani stated. “Things should be finalised today.”

Bojan joined Roma last summer from Barcelona on a two-year deal, with the Catalans retaining the right to buy him back in 2013.

However, the striker had his problems at the Stadio Olimpico last term under then boss Luis Enrique, despite scoring seven goals in 33 appearances, and new Coach Zdenek Zeman appears reluctant to use him in his 4-3-3 system.

Milan are understood to be keen to take him on a temporary basis and have allegedly already contacted Barcelona about his availability.
