Athletic Bilbao have a number of injury problems for Thursday’s Europa League return fixture with HJK Helsinki.
The Basques won the first-leg qualifier 6-0 at San Mames and the club’s official website has announced boss Marcelo Bielsa will be without five first-team regulars for the trip to Finland.
Gorka Iraizoz, Andoni Iraola, Ander Herrera, Carlos Gurpegui and Aritz Aduriz all returned to Bilbao with minor injuries after the 4-0 defeat at Atletico Madrid on Monday and did not travel with team from Madrid to the Finnish capital on Tuesday morning.
Bielsa will now decide on the three players to join up with the rest of the squad, with Athletic scheduled to hold a training session at the Estadio Sonera tonight.
