Milan also want Diarra

Milan will this week attempt to take Real Madrid’s Kaka to the San Siro and will also try to sign his teammate Lassana Diarra.

Vice-President Adriano Galliani plans to the Spanish capital where he is expected to watch the Supercopa de Espana second-leg clash between Madrid and Barcelona on Wednesday.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Galliani is only interested in signing Kaka on loan with a reported salary of €5m per season, but he will also take the opportunity during his visit to sound Los Blancos out about the availability of Diarra.

The Italians are understood to have already had contact with the player, whose contract at the Santiago Bernabeu expires in June 2013, but so far the French international’s economic pretensions have proved a stumbling block.

However, Milan’s shock 1-0 defeat to newly-promoted Sampdoria in the opening game of the Serie A season has prompted Galliani to step up his bid to sign a combative central midfielder.
