Milan launch new Kaka bid

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani is planning to go to Madrid in an attempt to launch a new bid for Kaka.

The long drawn-out transfer saga surrounding the Brazilian midfielder could be set to end as it is reported Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has set a deadline of Wednesday for any deal to be completed.

“I will fly to Madrid over the next few days and we’ll see what happens,” confirmed Galliani to Sky Sports Italia cameras.

The Serie A giants are hopeful of taking Kaka to the San Siro on loan with a mandatory option to buy at the end of the 2012-13 campaign.

Madrid have been reluctant to let Kaka leave for less than€25m but reports in Spain suggest they will have to drastically reduce their asking price if they are to get him off the wage bill.
