Super Cup Clasico line-ups

Both Coaches have made a handful of changes to their line-ups as Barcelona and Real Madrid meet in the Supercopa de Espana first leg tonight.

Last season’s Copa del Rey winners Barca and Liga champions Real meet at the Camp Nou tonight to contest the first leg of the Super Cup.

The meeting will also mark the fourth Clasico meeting between two of the calendar year, with next week’s second leg and a League meeting in October also due before the year is out. This year’s Super Cup is also a repeat of 2011’s clash, which was won by Barcelona.

For the line-ups, new Blaugrana Coach Tito Vilanova has made a few changes from the side that defeated Real Sociedad at the weekend. Gerard Pique, Adriano and Alexis Sanchez have been brought in for Carles Puyol, Jordi Alba and Cristian Tello respectively.

Meanwhile, visiting Coach Jose Mourinho has dispensed with Lassana Diarra, Angel Di Maria and Gonzalo Higuain and is without the recovering Pepe, so in have come Raul Albiol, Sami Khedira, Jose Callejon and Karim Benzema.

Starting line-ups

Barcelona: Valdes; Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Adriano; Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta; Pedro, Messi, Alexis

Real Madrid: Casillas; Arbeloa, Albiol, Ramos, Coentrao; Alonso, Khedira; Callejon, Ozil, Ronaldo; Benzema
