Levante are interested in signing Sporting Lisbon defender Oguchi Onyewu, according to A Bola.
American international Onyewu has been left out of the Lions' Europa League squad, sparking rumours that he is available for transfer.
The 30-year-old signed for Ricardo Sa Pinto's side on a free from Milan last summer and played 17 times during 2011-12, but is now seen as third choice centre-back at the club after the arrivals of Khalid Boulahrouz and Marcos Rojo.
Subsequently, Levante are linked, with a bid of around €900,000 thought to be enough to seal the deal for the Granotes, who have also drafted in Christian Lell, Theofanis Gekas and Dariusz Dudka of late.
