Lionel Messi has revealed that Barcelona are targeting winning every trophy they play for this season.
The Argentine began the season with two goals to help Barca defeat Real Sociedad 5-1 in the first week of the League campaign and has suggested that it is the beginning of a clean sweep of trophies.
“As Tito said, we want to win everything. We have the same mentality. We know it will be difficult, but we will try to get everything that we will play for,” he told reporters after the game.
“The key is a dressing room that wants to achieve important things, and our group is as confident as ever.
“We have the same philosophy, the same project, keeping the ball. Today we have demonstrated this.
“Last season left a thorn for us not winning the League and Champions League in that manner. But this year we will have revenge.”
