Camp Nou Clasico tickets dearest-ever

Tickets for this season’s first El Clasico in October will be the dearest in Barcelona’s history, reports Mundo Deportivo.

The Catalan club, which on Thursday will put the first tickets on sale for the 2012-13 campaign, have increased the cost in the three main sections of the stadium – Tribuna, Lateral and Gol – by 12.5 per cent for next season.

As a result, the price of the most expensive ticket has now risen from €265 to see the last Clasico at the Camp Nou, when Pep Guardiola’s men waved goodbye to the La Liga title, to €298 – and even then there will be only a few available.

From Thursday, club members will be able to purchase a ticket with a 5 per cent discount for this particular game, set for the weekend of October 6-7, with a maximum of two per person. Barcelona have also announced that tickets for all games will go on sale from 10am next term and it will be possible to print them from home if bought through the club’s official website.
