Cristian Ansaldi has admitted his delight at joining Atletico Madrid on loan from Zenit St Petersburg.
The Argentine full-back completed his switch to Vicente Calderon on Friday, and the 27-year-old has revealed that he is ‘very happy’ to play for Diego Simeone’s men.
“I'm very happy. I've come to Atleti to add and contribute to the best of my ability,” he told the club’s official website.
“What's important is the sacrifice and working with humility.”
